Beat up baseboards?

When you walk through your home and think of things that need to be cleaned are your baseboards on that list? Have you ever taken a good look at them? At one point were they white? Now they may have dirt in all the little creases or been banged and scuffed up.

How to clean them:

There are multiple ways to clean your baseboard. You can go over them with a vacuum attachment, get down and dirty while you scrub them with a rag, or use a broom and brush off the dirt. Now, someone has even invented the "Baseboard Buddy" which is like a sponge at the end of a stick so you don't have to bend over or get on the floor.

They Highlight the Room:

Baseboard separates wall from floor giving it a crisp look. Its the finishing touch that makes a space look larger.

Replacing it:

Replacing baseboard depends on your own judgement. How banged up does it look? Will a fresh coat of paint do the job? Maybe its out dated.
